Character Traits:
Ahrk is very cocksure of his abilities and charm, able to sway those around him with a quick smile and steady gaze from his striking eyes. He takes pride in his looks and strives to ensure his hair and tail are perfect and his ensemble accentuates his form before being around people. He provides a front filled with humor and sarcasm to prevent those around him seeing his true feelings; he feels alone and that he cannot connect with people truly without being hurt or discarded. Only a few have gotten close enough to get past his walls, and he cherishes these few with utmost care and tries to provide for them as best he can on an adventurer's and Scion's way of life. He holds little to no regard for himself, and until his bonding to Mamoru, felt he wasn't deserving of the love and devotion his friends and bondmate provided.
Ahrk can be startled if he is caught off guard, usually by his bondmate surprising him with affection or his friends gifting him something he has been eying.
When he is alone, he is somber and contemplative, thinking of his role in the grand scheme of things and how it came to be that Hydaelyn relied on someone like him. He prefers to find someplace remote and high up and simply bask in the ambience of the location while lost in his thoughts.
It has only been since his fated meetings with the Scions and subsequent adventures as Hydaelyn's chosen that he has found himself wanting to protect the people of Eorzea as a whole, and cannot abide by those who have no regard for others. He also believes in redemption, but only for those that are truly deserving.
Background:
Ahrk was born to a branch of the G tribe located in Gyr Abania, and from youth was groomed to take leadership of the tribe as the future nunh. Even at an epoch and twelve moons, Ahrk proved himself capable during the clan hunts due to his preternatural senses and ability to adapt quickly in combat (Echo). Though he excelled at the needed monthly hunts for the clan alongside his brother and cousins, he felt shackled by the oppressive nature of the elders of the tribe and his father, the current nunh. Bickering and arguments happened frequently between Ahrk and his father, until one fateful day, fed up with the path his life was taking, Ahrk defied the elders and his father and struck out on his own, taking his chances at the city where opportunities waited: Ul'dah.
What awaited Ahrk in Ul'dah however was a society that couldn't be more different than what he was used to. His skills in hunting and tribal necessities were useless; he found the use of his body in other ways proved effective. His dark, tan skin and striking blue eyes were a sought after quality amongst his kind, and Ahrk quickly learned to use this to his advantage in the dens of those who pay handsomely. He also grew annoyed at the population who were not miqo'te having trouble with his real name, so he shortened it to Ahrk (arc) to make it easier. In a last jab to his former tribe, he invoked the name of the fiery patron beast of their namesake for his own. Several patrons taught him to read and write Eorzean, play musical instruments, sing, and ways to dance that accentuated his innate beauty and grace. Ahrk became an elite treasure for the wealthy to have during parties and events.
It was a few years like this before the realm of Eorzea was rocked to the core by the falling of Dalamud and the reveal of Bahamut. In that moment, Ahrk's Echo manifested and his dreams were haunted by hidden memories of the past, causing him to question all he knew and what his life truly meant. For five years, he lost his connections in Ul'dah due to his isolation, his nightmares causing him to distance himself from everyone. A chance encounter with a disguised Sultana out to the Sultantree revealed to Ahrk his new destiny as one who is blessed by Hydaelyn.
Relationships:
Bondmate - Mamoru Asatani
Mamoru was not the first Asatani that Ahrk had met - he had previously adventured with her older brother, Akira. Ahrk found himself developing feelings for his tall male comrade, but these were not reciprocated.
Mamoru arrived in Eorzea after following her brother as an escaped refugee from their family, and the miqo'te and femme au'ra became acquainted. Akira suddenly left without word, and Ahrk was left with hurt feelings and a displaced younger Asatani sister.
The two quickly bonded over the loss of Akira in their lives, until it blossomed into a close friendship with hints to something more desired. Over time the two flirted and danced around each other without committing to naming the feelings.
During the events of the primal Alexander, things came to a head and the two finally admitted they had feelings for one another.
Ahrk dared to let down his guard and put his trust and heart in Mamoru, and ask for her bond. The two were bonded on the 1st Sun of the Third Astral Moon (May 1st) and have been together ever since.
Mamoru has since taken Ahrk's last name both as a token of love to Ahrk, and to separate herself further from her family. Mamoru is also one of the only people outside of his tribe to know his true name.
The travel between shards to the First altered Mamoru's body and she had become a tall viera. Ahrk loves her no matter the form she takes - all the same, the viera height difference allows for some definite perks as certain parts of Mamoru's anatomy are now face height.Children
Somehow, some way, certain individuals are chosen to be 'adopted' into the Rhodan family. Two of the children are estranged and two are still part of the Rhodans.
Vatan Kupo (alive)
Illenia Daimos (alive)
On the subject of a child born from them, they are decidedly mum about the topic.

Character Profile
Page Senebanc

Age: 55
Clan: Kanina (based in province West of Othard), Senebanc (House of Sharlayan)
Orientation: Unknown
Nameday: Unknown
Family: Mother & father (deceased), aunt & uncle (deceased), two cousins (alive), adoptive patron (missing, presumed dead)Combat Proficiencies: Summoner, Scholar(Sharlayan)
Profession Proficiencies: Botanist, Alchemy, Fishing
Home Server: Balmung
Character Traits:
Page is a quiet, kind soul that would only resort to violence if it meant that others would be spared pain. She has few words for those she doesn't know, and until recently, the only method she had of communication was the use of her magicked tome with a quill that would write out her thoughts upon the pages. Since regaining her voice, she only speaks with her closest friends or those she is comfortable with.
For a time after the Count vanished, she had a fatalistic approach to her own safety and existence and would put herself in dangerous situations if she believed she would be the only one hurt when the answers were achieved. She has since realized the worth of her own life and protecting the being within her and cherishes those that care for her.
When confronted with situations in which her friends are hurt or in trouble, Page is willing to step in and take the brunt of the damage if it meant the people she cared for were unharmed.
Most of the time you will find Page with her nose buried in a book or researching in the grand libraries of the Scholasticate in Ishgard. When not studying, she enjoys mint orange juice and finger sandwiches at the New Saronia bar and gathering botanical ingredients for alchemy.
Background:
Page is not her real name, but the name given to her after the Count of House Senebanc took her in as a ward. She had been brought to Sharlayan after escaping the Garlean forces as they butchered her parents and set her village ablaze. On that day, her voice was lost. Over time, the Count took to calling her his 'little page', as she eagerly gobbled up any book she could get her hands on. Her silent smile could be seen as she soaked in the knowledge of years of research and history and lore within the libraries of Sharlayan. But, her adventures would truly begin with the sudden disappearance of the Count, and his charge to her in the letter he left behind was to travel the world with his tome and record what she saw and experienced. She has come to Eorzea to both find herself and any leads on where the Count might have gone. His last notes surrounding his final experiments mentioned the word 'Saronia'...

roleplay storylines
New Beginnings:
Page had been a recent visitor to Eorzea, and found her way past Ishgard to studying the summoner arts as taught by one Y'mhitra Rhul in Gridania, without significant success. A flyer caught her eye to a Public Night at the bar located in the Saronian embassy. Page attended the event and got to know those in its employ, befriending U'leoh Baldesion, Mamomo Mamo (now Mamorin Frostborn), Harper Creed, Arianna Krisyarus, Nalia Cantrell, Chief Restor, Remy Winters, and many others. She sought assistance with her summoning as she was plagued with doubt and fear over controlling Ifrit-egi, which also for some inexplicable reason caused her to lose memories tied to her experiences written in her tome; Chief Restor assisted and advised her to find the positive aspects of fire. Her tome was then inscribed with a diagram of a flame-wreathed avian, Hi no Tori.

The XVth Legion
One day, a sudden attack by Garlean magitek battlements accosted the group at the Embassy and rendered most of them unconscious. Page, reliving her trauma from her youth, unknowingly unleashed her Ifrit-egi which was captured along with the rest of the group and all were transported to the Castrum Centri located in Mor Dhona. Page was unresponsive and her Ifrit-egi had control; a dousing of water to her book sufficiently broke the summoning and she was returned to consciousness. The group escaped but not before it was revealed that the attack had been a ploy to bring one Remus yae Galvus (Remy Winters, to his friends in Saronia) to lead a rogue faction of Garleans based in Castrum Centri, the XVth Legion. Remus bade all his former comrades to leave and never return, and let them go. Page then returned on her own, turning herself over to the XVth Legion and Aulus mal Asina much to the shock and anger of those who cared for her.
During her stay in Castrum Centri, Page was subjected to experiments and infusions by mal Asina while being watched over by a Garlean soldier, Calpurnia. Weakened after the first transfusion of Resonance to Remus, Page was allowed to recuperate in the infirmary. She was paid a visit by Remus and both were surprised when Harper appeared. Remus and Harper exchanged blows, and it was Page's intense anger and explosive interruption that stopped them. Afterwards, she showed Remus her memories; her pain, her loss, and her visions of fire raining down from the sky and a voice charging her to Hear, Feel, Think...
Moved to a new infirmary, things became complicated as Aulus had recovered Page's tome and discovered the ability to modify and change her memories as he saw fit by affecting the pages within. He made Page and Calpurnia appear to be childhood friends, and the physician Nova appear as motherly to Page as her own mother had been all those years ago. Remus, having been defeated by the Publius Faction, was preparing to make a final stand, and bade Calpurnia to whisk Page to safety before the conflict. Calpurnia was caught by Nova, and nearly committed suicide much to the shock and horror of her supposed childhood friend Page.
The day of the Resonance, the Publius Faction, mercenaries, the pirate crew led by Ibin Kanina, and Saronian hunters all stormed the Castrum in a bid to save Page and dismantle the XVth Legion. Everything came to a head once Remus had finished his final infusion, his newfound strength with Resonance giving him an edge against the entire group of hunters. The hunters managed to subdue him and recover Page from the pod, but not before Aulus held one last trick up his sleeve; he detonated bombs around the machine and blew the room apart, killing Nova in the process. Page came to and discovered Nova's corpse, and her grief and anger exploded in a fiery wrath as she was consumed by Ifrit and wreathed in hellfire. She turned on the hunters, caring not for injuries and threatening to temper all present to Ifrit's will. Remus regained consciousness and fought alongside the hunters, allowing them time to discover Page's tome amongst the debris. The hunters, remembering the key to defeating Ifrit before, began attacking the tome, causing extreme pain to Page and disrupting her channeling of Ifrit. A voice reached out to Remus, invoking the knowledge of a spell that would help. Remus cast the spell and Page's tome erupted with a different kind of flame, restored to its original condition and restoring her lost memories. Page exploded with the flame of Hi no Tori, transforming into a new form that washed the Giving Flame across the Castrum and restored all present to full health and vigor, and resurrected Nova. Page was formally reunited with the Kanina sisters, her cousins, and they have taken to keeping an eye on her in case she ever attempts to surrender herself again. (She will not, but it's nice that they care.)

Sins of the Father
Page was not present when the situation turned dire as Arianna was fully possessed by an Ascian that had been hidden within her, Halmarut. Harper and Arianna's daughter from the future, named Vandal, had been present at the epic battle at the Castrum and was there when Page was recovered. Page vowed to assist Harper and Vandal any way she could, and aided in the research into the red aether crystals and many other types of crystals found in a cavern.
Lunadrin Krisyarus, Arianna's mother and Page's best friend from some point in the future, ascertained that there was a being within Page that must not be allowed to awaken. She assisted Page by providing a bridge between the two, and caught the attention of a stranger housed within Page as well: the missing Count Senebanc. He bade Luna keep his presence hidden, and thanked her for assisting his page. Luna begged him to watch over Page in the coming days. The Count also has visited Remus thanks to the link between Remus and Page due to the Resonance experiment.
Page was present as her friend Arianna Krisyarus was saved from being the host of an Ascian, Halmarut, but at the cost of Arianna's mother's life. Page mourns the loss of her good friend Luna even now and swore she would do what she could to aid the Krisyarus family (now Creed as the Krisyarus have officially dismantled).

Page was present during the event which brought the memories of Nalia back to everyone and stopped the plans of Nalia's alternate self from another shard. During the fight against the seemingly invincible alternate!Nalia, Page pushed her absolute limits and managed to bring back the tide of battle by taxing herself to the brink to restore her comrades to fighting fit.
During the event of preventing the Cloud of Darkness and several top tier Voidsent from invading the beach outside the Saronia embassy, Page talked with Remus and told him that she forgives him for what happened at the Castrum. She used the Giving Flame to restore his third eye.
Hollow Sails
Page's cousin, Ibin, had been missing for several weeks following an abrupt disappearance late at night without Ilfin. Page and Ilfin were concerned and reached out to Saronia for any possible information gathering that could be achieved.
Several bits of information came through that the Travessura, Ibin's ship, was spotted heading northwest and rumors of demonic pirate raiding had occurred in open waters since then, many merchant ships going missing as well.
One day, a package was sent to the Jeavanc estate where Page had been residing in Ishgard. Inside, a horrifying revelation: Ibin's arm had been sent to Page and a warning to come alone with the item the pirates were looking for. At this time, a Maelstrom officer also arrived to bear news of a prisoner calling for Ilfin and Page. This prisoner turned out to be a runaway of the mutinous pirate crew Ibin once captained, now under the command of Ibin's first mate, Haertroeg. The crew had mutinied and thrown all those loyal to Ibin overboard, and held her in the brig to get information on the item that Haertroeg was looking for: the Giving Flame. Ibin, knowing that it would involve Page, refused to give any answer and paid with her arm being cut off.
Page asked for help from the Saronians, and many of her friends answered the call. She met with the pirates and the Saronians were stealthed nearby. The situation ended up almost costing many their lives when Haertroeg was sucked through a void portal and a Dullahan appeared. The pirate ship was blasted to pieces by the Saronian frigate, and Ibin was recovered.
Familial Ties
Page had made the mistake of touching an Eurekan weapon, tainting her hand black and causing a problem she was not aware of inside her being. The essence of the weapon burrowed deep enough to gain access to the entity sleeping within, and Count Senebanc called from within to the Kanina sisters. The two were pulled inside Page and apprised of the situation: the essence would need to be removed by both of them taking it into themselves so Page would not be in danger any longer. Both agreed and bore the burden of the dark corruption, curing Page but retaining no memory of this event. Only time will tell how this affects Ibin and Ilfin.
Aila's Resurgence
The alternate Nalia returned to bring New Saronia to its knees, starting with a manipulation of Alliance forces to detain and place aetherial gauntlets on the Saronian members and any prisoners of the Alliance in a mark to control them. These gauntlets were fabricated by Vella and used by the Alliance without the full knowledge that the aether plundered away from the wearers went to Aila, strengthening her. Once the coup was realized thanks to the efforts of a Gridanian officer named investigating Saronia, the gauntlets were decommissioned. But it was too late, and Aila made her appearance during an altercation with Elissa's brother. She showed she had extraordinary strength, and even wielded a familiar flame. Page was not present for the altercation which claimed the life of Elissa's brother, but it was quickly determined that Aila was after the source of the Flame, Page herself.
The Saronians planned alongside Lord Aleron (Elissa's father) to spring a trap on Aila and attempt to bring her down. A mock team was dispatched while Page sought an area away from nearby settlements, deciding to be at the Great Gubal Library in the Hinterlands. There, Aila found her, but not before the strike team converged and a fight broke out. During the scuffle, Aila managed to get a hold of Page and demanded she give the Flame or her friends would die. The viera was able to sense that the real Nalia was held deep within Aila, and took a chance by funneling her flame to the trapped Nalia. This caused an internal conflict within Aila that allowed the team to overcome her massive strength, alongside Harper, Mamo, Elissa, J'auri, Ezra, Zani, and a surprise arrival of Remus, released from his prison by his brother.
Once the danger was past and Nalia resumed control of her body, Ezra quickly trapped Remus' soul in the crystal he wielded once more and teleported away, leaving Remus' body abandoned with the Saronians. They moved his body to the stasis room in Saronia and determined that Ezra would need to be located and the crystal housing Remus recovered.
Leoh's Return
U'leoh Baldesion had been missing for months, trapped in the past. While trapped there, an alternate form of Leoh bearing a Crystal of Light wandered the land, righting wrongs and defeating primals. This other Leoh was dubbed 'Wally', or 'Warrior of Light Leoh'. Rhemi and Page tried to find him with little success for weeks before Rilo received word from a contact that Wally was suddenly taking a direct course towards Mor Dhona. Page deduced that he may be headed for the Crystal Tower, and her and Rhemi moved to head him off at the bridge outside of Coerthas. Words would not sway him and he managed to slip by them, while stating he was to put an end to a dangerous woman. The voice and symbol of Hope led both to believe he meant to harm Hope, which hurried their rush by airship near Lake Silvertear, making one last stand against Wally to prevent him from reaching the tower.
Rhemi and Page were no match for a warrior wielding a Crystal of Light, and in a last ditch effort before being swept into the lake by a wave of water, Page tackled Wally and he was dragged along down into the aetherially dense lake. Wally recovered enough to send both the women to the depths of the lake. Rhemi transformed and managed to find an air pocket near the crystals in the lake, but Page was unconscious and affected by the aether in the water.
Rhemi made it to the surface near the Agrius and called for aid, and the Saronians answered the call to intercept Wally. Thanks to their efforts, he was bested and fell in battle. Page was brought to the area by Rhemi, but was afflicted with aether sickness and was unable to manipulate her flame. It backfired on her and burned her hand.
With her affliction and injury, she opted to return to the Saronian embassy for recovery and to allow the sickness to run its course.

The Lonely FlameDuring a series of events in which Necros showed the Hunters episodes of people living and dying through history and the future, one such timeline was visited. In this timeline, Leoh had been stranded in the past in the Allagan Empire, and had enacted changes that allowed for most of Saronia and the Empire's citizens to escape doom during the Calamity that befell the land.During the investigation into where Leoh had been visiting, the land of Allag and the Crystal Tower was where the Saronians discovered a dragon who had been the companion of a previous wielder of the Flame, Titho. He was severely injured after having been harmed by Amon, and was ready to attack until he sensed the Flame within Page. He has since agreed to help Page learned to wield the Flame in a manner similar to his previous companion.Leoh had returned to cause even further changes, planning to reset history as it was known entirely and cause all lives prior to the Final Days during the time of Ancients to never exist. A world anew with the power of creation at hand. To that end, he slept in stasis in the Crystal Tower during the events of the final battle of the Allagan Empire. The Hunters had followed Leoh in an attempt to stop him, and had to join him in stasis in the Crystal Tower to awaken when he did, five thousand years in the future when Black Rose had been released and a calamity was near imminent.Upon awakening, they convinced Leoh that the loss of no one having lived at all was too great, and he decided to not follow through with his plan. Before they could leave, however, a presence made themselves known. It was Lieutenant Nothys, an Allagan soldier and the previous holder of the Giving Flame before Page that had been Titho's bonded companion. She had lived throughout history for five thousand years in the timeline that the New Saronian hunters had been in stasis in, and demanded that they leave before they cause further damage to the ruined timeline. They left, but not before Page was able to sense the sheer amount of misery and pain and despair housed within Nothys. Some time after, Page decided to approach Nothys herself to ask about the Flame. She used the Rift Gate bracelet she had from their travels with Necros and reappeared in the timeline. Before she had a chance to explain, Nothys had descended and attempted to kill Page. The viera was cut cleanly through, but there was no wound and she did not feel any pain. Page deduced that it was the Flame that had kept her alive, and the Flame that had kept Nothys from dying for five thousand years. Nothys spoke of the despair and hatred she felt for the being inside her that kept her from release, and stated that it would be the same for Page. She bore down on Page with five thousand years of torment, loss, despair and rage. In an explosion of emotion and Flame, Page teleported away back to her own timeline to come to terms with her supposed new immortality.
Remus' Recovery
Remus' brother, Ezra Winters, had been apprehended and held at the Saronian embassy while the Hunters tested how best to reunite Remus with his body. The procedure became impossible as Remus' memories had become too fragmented while he was trapped, and his aetherical imbalance created a rift between soul and body. While Remus was trapped in the crystal in an endless series of nightmares, Page was able to visit him due to their link through the Resonance project. Through these visits, their relationship blossomed unexpectedly and both began to care for each other greatly. However, another visitor was also able to visit Remus while he was trapped: the Count Senebanc, ever the guardian of the sleeping entity within Page. He revealed to Remus the importance of ensuring the safety and protection of Page remain paramount while keeping the evidence of the being housed within Page a secret. He offered an ability to save the fractured memories that Remus was slowly losing: a cathedral with glass cages that would safely house the memories. In return, Remus would forget these memories until he was reunited with his body.Remus in return realized that in his offered duty to protect Page, he could not act on the feelings he had for her. He swore to himself to stay by her side if he could, acting as her guardian. Upon closing off all his memories of his life, friends, and loved ones, he descended into a full blown nightmare that lasted years for him.Things came to a head when Ezra visited Remus and found the cathedral of memories. He called together the Hunters who attempted to restore Remus with the help of Nova and a brave selection of people to restore enough memories to bring Remus back. But then Ezra reached for the answer he had trapped Remus for in the first place, and all were privy to the truth: Remus had killed their mother as she had been tempered. This memory sent Remus into shock and his body died. The Hunters returned outside the crystal to discover the truth and were devastated.Ezra understood that Remus had lived a full life of love and friendship, and decided that the wrong brother was dying. In a last ditch effort, he took the crystal with the still fading Remus and plunged it into his chest. This caused the crystal to be absorbed in a shocking aetheric explosion before Ezra was dropped to the floor. In the infirmary of the Embassy, Ezra awakened, but it was instead Remus, gifted new life in his brother's body.Only time will tell if Remus (now Remy Winters once again) will be able to perform his duty as Page's protector as he had sworn to the Count while trapped in the crystal. And if the two will ever reconcile their feelings for one another.
Checkmate
In an attempt to draw out the holder of the Flame, an attack on Ishgard was deployed under the guise of lowborn terrorists bombing the noble ward of Ishgard. Page was caught in the attack trying to save her ward Ovaux, and was severely injured in the process, near to the point of dying. Her Flame manifested over the entirety of Ishgard in a blazing phoenix that stole the fires away.Because of this, the Count Senebanc, within Page herself, had caged the Flame so that those that hunt its power would not find her. He then called to the Saronians who had come to the aid of Ishgard and Page, and alerted them of the dangers that now poised waiting for the Flame to show itself. He had isolated Page's consciousness inside her soulscape until she had recovered enough that the Flame would not manifest on its own to heal her.The Saronians moved Page to their base of operations in Shirogane to allow her to heal while in a coma. During this, the investigation began into those who hunt the Flame. The attacking terrorists were unfortunately slaughtered by Darkstar, who had acted on impulse instead of orders for once and took revenge against those who had hurt Page. This in turn caused a suspicion of him acting under orders from Remus Galvus and Darkstar was captured to be put on trial in Ishgard.Alongside the detainment of those involved with Remus Galvus and Saronia in Ishgard, another strike occurred this time in Ul'dah. This time, Ibin, Page's cousin, was seemingly framed for the murder of an information broker's subordinate caught in the bombing and had to flee to Othard.During the trial in Ishgard, it came to light that a lowborne terrorist had arisen from Darkstar's attack from a wound that could not have been lived through. The trial was discontinued in light of the discovery that Ascian influence may now have been involved. Despite this, suspicion began to fall on Saronia and the embassy lost ties to Ishgard under the heavy suspect. Because of this, the Alliance as a whole was now looking into the activities of New Saronia based on the suspicion of still working with the now 'deceased' Remus Galvus.Restor was unfortunately forced to work with Lord Lolorito of Ul'dah to place the Saronian agents into safety while the investigation into the Bishops continued. The Saronians held a meeting and discussed at length with Count Senebanc, able to communicate through the link Page and Titho shared, about their identities. The Bishops had been attacking and using the Flame's wielder throughout the ages, causing or indirectly supporting the Calamities which befell the Source and aided in the Rejoining that the Paragons were attempting.Arianna provided clues that while Halmarut had known of them, he considered them lower tier due to their continued search and use of the Flame's Core. It seemed they would hunt the Core throughout the years and hold the wielder until the time it was needed to imbalance the aether. The Bishops seemed to be several steps ahead as the previously dead terrorist, now a flesh vessel for the lesser Bishop, invaded the Saronian embassy and discovered traces of the Flame in a storage tank that once housed Remy. This seemed to springboard the actions of the Bishops, the Lesser attacking House Krisyarus in an attempt to kidnap U'Rhemi's daughter Adora, whom they believed housed the Flame as Page had been convalescing safely at New Saronia East. During her recovery, her throat was damaged from the fire and she had to rely on her tome now speaking with its own voice, calling itself Opus due to the work of two Senebancs in its pages. Thanks to the teachings from her master, Page was able to channel spellwork similar to the cage containing the very Core within her as a makeshift prison for the Lesser, but not before he confirmed that she was the carrier. With the Lesser Bishop trapped in a prison, the team returned to New Saronia East to determine the next steps.Restor called the team and instructed that they would need to travel to the Great Gubal Library and disengage the surveillance system he had set up previously, as he was sure the Bishops had control of it and were using it to manipulate the city-states against Saronia. The trip proved fruitful as there was an agent of the Bishops who laid a trap for the group that involved canisters of Black Rose and a Garlean aircraft, but quick work of the enemy ensured everyone was alive. Before the man died, he cursed the Ascians and vowed he would kill those that would use him for little to no profit. The group of hunters returned to New Saronia East with the corpse in tow to find Ibin had resurfaced, apparently on a tip from an anonymous source. This proved to be what the Greater Bishop was hoping for as he took control of Ibin from his previous puppet of Restor, who had been controlled since before the Lesser was captured. Ibin threatened U'Rhemi's daughter's life if Page did not surrender to him.In a desperate attempt to keep the Core from falling into the Bishop's hands, Remy stabbed Page, nearly killing her. The Greater Bishop freed the Lesser from his prison and seized the dying Page, both making to leave with their prize. But Remy forcefully pulled the tiny avian that Page had gifted to him from before his imprisonment in the crystal, which then flew to her and restored her. Amidst the tussle between the Greater Bishop and Page, both burst into flame and tumbled through a void portal with the unconscious Ibin, the Lesser Bishop not far behind. All that was left was Page's tome, now quiet and no longer acting as Opus.
Current Roleplay Storyline:Page is missing, having been pulled through a void portal by the Greater Bishop alongside her cousin, Ibin. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
Character profile
Ibin Kanina

Age: 55
Clan: Kanina (based in province West of Othard)
Orientation: Unknown
Nameday: Unknown
Family: Mother & father (deceased), younger sister (alive) aunt & uncle (deceased), cousin (alive)
Character Traits:
Loud, boisterous, and a whole lot of bravado. Ibin knows she's tough and isn't afraid to stand at the front and draw the attention of her enemies in the hopes that they would provide a challenge. She is very protective of her younger sister and her cousin, and will not abide by someone threatening to harm them.
Her way of speech when talking in Eorzean was affected heavily by the Lominsan pirate crew she took charge of, and her gruff mannerisms seem out of place against her beauty.
It has become apparent to those who know both Ibin and Page that the two are strikingly similar, almost to the point that it bothers Ilfin when Page makes the same face as her sister at times.
Ibin can usually be found perusing the shelves of the New Saronia bar for any and all alcohol (she doesn't pay for it and yet is allowed to consume it- Page pays for it) and finding the next source of fun either in a fling or an adventure.

Background:
Ibin is the older sibling to Ilfin, and two couldn't be more any more different. Ibin is loud and demanding and on the front lines, while Ilfin is quiet, recluse and operates from the shadows. Ibin remembers her extended family and her cousin, but Ilfin was not born at the time. When her aunt and uncle were killed, she assumed her cousin was murdered along with them. The sisters grew to hate Garleans, and stayed close for many years, guarding their forest home.
Tragedy would follow the sisters again in the form of Garlemald as the Empire invaded the forest and razed their village. The sisters were the only survivors and took refuge in Eorzea. Ibin struck out first to find a new home for her and her sister, and bade Ilfin to wait for her. Days turned into weeks and Ilfin grew worried and began to search for her sister. She searched every continent and any landmass in Eorzea for her sister to no avail for months. Little did she know that Ibin had impressed herself upon a pirate crew, and the rough and tumble crowd had elected her as their captain. She had been at sea the entire time, commanding her own pirate ship.Completed Roleplay Storylines:
Ibin came ashore to find a bar that could handle her abundant need for alcohol, and it was by chance that she chose the New Saronia embassy bar where Ilfin had been looking for help to find her lost sister. The two have been inseparable ever since.
Ibin was shocked to hear of a viera that looked identical to her except for being pink instead of blue, and she held out hope that it was her cousin, only to hear that her cousin had surrendered to a rogue Garlean faction. Ilfin confirmed Page was their cousin during her stealth mission into the Castrum.
Ibin and Ilfin had been present for the emotional and spiritual standoff between Harper and his father, Kiba. Both of them felt Kiba's death strongly and sought a way to honor him, and went searching for the battlefield under the cherry blossoms in the Far East. They were found by Tsukikage and transported back to Eorzea soon after Arianna had been possessed and provided support for Harper during these days.
Ibin and Ilfin were present when Page was liberated and the family reunited. Ibin remained close and limited her piracy to watch her cousin closely.
Ibin was abducted by her crew when they mutinied, and was held prisoner while the new captain Haertroeg, her previous first mate, tried to get the information of where the Giving Flame is located. Ibin, aware that it is at least tied to Page, refused to provide any information, and paid the price with her arm being severed. The detached arm was then sent to Page at her Ishgard estate to force her to meet with the pirates to reveal the Giving Flame.
In a covert operation aided by the Saronians, Page met with the pirates per their demand and led the Saronians back to where the Travessura was docked, and saved Ibin while exploding the ship and killing the mutineer pirates. Haertroeg was pulled through a voidal tear; his current status is unknown.
Her arm reattached thanks to Page and the chirurgeons of Ishgard, Ibin was on a mission of revenge on those who mutinied against her from the Travessura. While in the Far East, her previous boy-toy/lover L'Doji Tia tracked her down at the behest of her cousin. Doji offered her employ at his growing business, Cross Industries, as his Head of Security.Current Roleplay Storylines
Following the attack on Ishgard which injured her cousin, Ibin hunted down the information broker that had been providing some measure of cover for the Saronian members from those who were asking questions. Upon finding his corpse in Ul'dah, she was framed for his murder and ran to Othard to hide. She was called back to assist her cousin and the Saronian hunters with an operation, but was walking into a trap laid by the Greater Bishop who took control of her. Her current whereabouts are unknown as she has fallen through a void portal alongside Page and the Greater Bishop.
